The problem
Most distributors we meet already have a system in the back office. What nobody ever automated is the part where an order becomes data — the hour between the voicemail and the pick ticket.

What we build
Every customer logs in and sees the items they actually buy, at their price — not your full catalog. Pars and last-order quantities pre-filled, so a re-order is four taps at 5am.
Price levels per account, contract prices, and one-off overrides for the customer your rep argues about. The price a buyer sees is the price that lands on the invoice.
Variable-weight items ordered by piece or case, invoiced on actual shipped weight. The math happens once, on the system, instead of on a calculator at 4pm.
Each account sees its own cut-off and delivery day. Orders after the cut-off roll to the next route automatically instead of becoming an argument.
Drivers or the office mark shorts against the order, credit memos generate themselves, and the customer sees the same numbers you do.
This sits in front of what you already run. Orders and invoices export clean to QuickBooks — your bookkeeper's workflow doesn't change, and nothing gets replatformed.

Wholesale distributor · 60 SKUs
Buyers texted or emailed the owner, who priced from memory and typed invoices by hand. We built an ordering desk: accounts log in, see their own tier price, order, and get a branded invoice automatically. The text thread became a record.
Multi-brand supplier
Each brand needed its own storefront and its own buyer list, but the owner needed a single place to see stock and orders. We built the branded fronts on one shared engine — separate to the customer, one system to the operator.
Manufacturer with a real factory
A production business had outgrown its tooling: buying, quality checks, production and dispatch were separate spreadsheets that disagreed with each other. We built the ERP-lite that made them one system — without a six-month implementation.
Rep-led distributor
Sales ran through assigned reps with commission owed on every order, reconciled by hand at month end. We wired commission into the order itself — so the number is right the day the order ships, not the week after payday.
Straight answer
“Have you built for a food distributor before?” Not yet — food is the category we’re focused on now. What we have built, eight times, is the exact flow underneath it: accounts, their own price, an order that becomes an invoice without anyone re-typing it. The vocabulary changes; the plumbing doesn’t. If you’d rather wait for someone with ten food logos, that’s a fair call — and you’ll pay ten times this for it.
The question your reps will ask
No — and if we built it that way, it would fail. Your reps own those relationships, and a customer who likes calling their rep should keep calling their rep. Plenty do it to be loyal, not because they lack an alternative.
So the order desk sits alongside the phone, not in front of it. Orders that arrive by phone, text or email land in the same place as the ones typed by a customer. Commission still attributes to whoever owns the account, whichever way the order came in — we have built that engine before, and it is the first thing we wire up.
What changes is what your reps spend the morning doing. Re-typing an order someone already placed is not selling.
