About the project

Bhagwati Industries operates across agriculture and industrial manufacturing in India, with a presence that spans factory floors, trade exhibitions, and grain fields. They needed a brand identity with the warmth of the land they work with and the precision of the machinery they build.

The logo is a geometric 'B' constructed from two stacked semicircular forms with sharp radiating sunburst cuts emanating from the left centre. The construction is rigorous — built on an underlying grid of dashed radial lines that dictate every angle and proportion, giving the mark an engineering-blueprint quality. In its final rendered form, the four quadrants of the 'B' carry the brand's primary palette: deep maroon (#981c20) at the top left, vibrant red (#da2128) at the top right, burnt orange (#ef7134) at the bottom right, and golden yellow (#ffcb05) at the bottom left — a gradient that evokes sunrise over harvested fields.

The wordmark uses Rockwell, a sturdy slab-serif that pairs industrial weight with readability, set in the brand's signature maroon. A secondary palette of softer tones — warm gold (#eac96b), peach (#edb385), salmon (#e68358), and dusty rose (#e0877e) — extends the system for packaging and environmental applications. Montserrat serves as the supporting sans-serif for body text and functional typography.

The brand pattern takes the 'B' mark's sunburst-and-semicircle motif and tiles it into a repeating textile-like grid — used across tote bags, exhibition booth panels, event canopies, and vehicle wraps. The application suite is vast: a complete stationery set (letterhead, envelope, business cards with a maroon pen), building facade signage, glass-door vinyl, concrete wall signage, fleet truck wraps in yellow with oversized pattern graphics, branded merchandise (polo shirts with maroon collars, caps, coffee mugs, pin badges, leather notebooks), trade show exhibition booths, outdoor event canopies, staff ID lanyards, and Instagram social media templates featuring agricultural rice and grain imagery.
